Welcome to Foresight Science & Technology’s Department of Energy SBIR Technical Assistance Program (TAP)! This custom TAP site has been designed specifically for DOE SBIR Phase I and Phase II awardees as well as those writing or considering writing Phase I proposals. Included on this site are:

• A data warehouse with over 3,000 reports (and growing) on individual technologies, including a large number of energy-related technologies;
• Market overviews written specifically for the markets addressed by the DOE’s SBIR solicitation topics (these will be added over the course of the next few months, so check back often to see if the overview relevant to your SBIR award has been posted);
• Numerous other databases, including our lists of venture capitalists and standards and regulations;
• Foresight’s Commercialization 101™ program, which is designed to give companies without experience in bringing new technologies to market up to speed quickly;
• Templates for reports that companies can use to evaluate technologies and markets;
• Extensive help files and live support from Foresight representatives between 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays); and,
• Much more!

Please note that depending on whether you are pre-Phase I, Phase I, or Phase II, you will have access to different areas of this site. Only Phase II awardees will have access to all of the features mentioned.

You are now ready to register for access to the DOE SBIR TAP site. Please fill out all fields in the registration form, as the information is important for the DOE and also will allow Foresight to serve you better. Once Foresight has received your registration, your company will be cross-checked with the DOE to confirm your status as pre-Phase I, Phase I or Phase II, and you will then be emailed a username and password for the site.
